Talbot Toast

The Society will meet at the St. Peter's Cemetery, Tyrconnell for our annual toast at the grave of Thomas Talbot. 

This year's toast will be given by local historian and architectural preservationist Laurence Grant. After the toast we will retire to the Carriage House at the Backus-Page Museum to hear from Laurence. He will tell the story of how he got involved in historic preservation from when he was living in Montreal in the 1970s, through a career in the museum field, and up to the recent restoration of the Iona General Store.
