George Thorman interviewing industrialist Roderick MacDonald. Rod was the president of both the Weatherhead and Jaeger Machine companies in St. Thomas. Rod had previously worked with Munitions Minister CD Howe during World War II and worked primarily in aircraft manufacturing serving as Howes representative in Washington . In that period Rod worked with many notable individuals such as Soviet Admiral Aksel Berg and American Aviator Howard Hughes.
