Hattie Robinson served as Secretary of the Elgin Branch of the Canadian War Contingency Association (C. W. C. A.) during their First World War activities.

David Ramsay and Long Point in Legend and History
A short essay entitled "David Ramsay and Long Point in Legend and History" presented by James H. Coyne, LL. D., F.R.S.C. in May 1919. From the transactions of the Royal Society of Canada, Series III, Volume XIII. Coyne was one of the founders of the Elgin Historical Society.
Court Houses of a Century
Early EHS publication concerning the development of Court Houses in what would eventually become Elgin County.
The book was published in part to mark the opening of the restored Elgin County Courthouse that had suffered severe fire damage in 1899.
Talbot Settlement Centenial Celebration
A record of the centennial celebrations held in 1903, commemorating the arrival of Col. Thomas Talbot, 100 years prior. The arrival of Talbot at Port Talbot on May, 21, 1803 is considered the birth date of the Talbot Settlement.
The EHS played a leading role in the centennial celebrations.
