Jumbo the Elephant went from the wilds of Africa to become a world wide sensation. This short film follows him from that humble beginning to his time at the London Zoo, giving rides to a generation of Victorian children, to his fame with P. T. Barmun in the Greatest Show on Earth, and to his untimely death in St. Thomas, September 15th, 1885
